$(document).ready() for the 21st century

when-dom-ready is a modern alternative to jQuery's $(document).ready() that returns a Promise for cleaner usage, includes a Promise chain helper function, and can be used as a pure function. It's designed for modern JavaScript developers who want a lightweight, Promise-based way to detect when the DOM is ready for manipulation, with broad browser compatibility (IE9+ with Promise polyfill).
