The project is a collection of JavaScript/TypeScript libraries (the Ledger JS ecosystem) that enable developers to communicate with Ledger hardware‑wallet devices — such as the Nano S, Nano X, and Blue — through multiple transports (U2F, HID, WebUSB, WebBluetooth, etc.) and to interact with Ledger’s blockchain apps (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, etc.) via unified “transport” and higher‑level application APIs. It’s aimed at developers who want to build or integrate cryptocurrency wallet and signing features into web, desktop, Electron, React Native, or native mobile applications.
