Leaflet.markercluster is a JavaScript plugin that adds animated, configurable marker‑clustering to Leaflet maps, automatically grouping dense sets of markers into a single icon that can be spider‑fanned for drill‑down. It’s intended for developers and data‑visualisation creators who need an efficient, interactive way to display thousands of points on Web maps—such as GIS analysts, urban‑planning tools, or any application that overlays large numbers of geographic data on Leaflet.
