This repository provides an ESLint plugin that adds a rule (`no‑unsafe‑regex`) for flagging regular‑expression literals and RegExp constructor calls that are potentially unsafe (i.e., may cause catastrophic backtracking). It’s intended for JavaScript developers who use ESLint and want to automatically prevent ReDoS‑prone regexes in their code.
