`fs‑teardown` is a lightweight Node.js library that lets developers easily create, manipulate, and clean up temporary file‑system structures for tests. By defining a root directory and an initial file‑tree, the API provides helpers to create files/directories, read or edit them, run commands inside the mock environment, reset changes, and finally remove the whole sandbox—making it ideal for testing code that interacts with the file system.
