**dotenv-flow** is a Node.js package that extends `dotenv` by adding support for `NODE_ENV`-specific `.env*` files (like `.env.development`, `.env.test`, `.env.production`, and their `.local` overrides). It allows developers to manage environment variables across multiple environments with selective configurations and local overrides for development, testing, and debugging purposes.
