The **eslint‑plugin‑escompat** adds a set of ESLint rules that flag modern JavaScript features which will break in browsers that don’t support them unless the code is transpiled. It’s aimed at front‑end developers (including TypeScript users) who want to ship raw JavaScript without Babel or similar tools and need automatic linting based on their project's browserslist targets.
