`chmodx` is a small cross‑platform command‑line tool that adds the executable permission (`chmod +x`) to files matching glob patterns or to the binaries listed in a package’s `package.json`. It was created to work around Yarn’s inability to mark linked package binaries as executable, but it can be used whenever you need to set executable bits on files in a Node‑centric, multi‑OS environment.
