The **marked‑metadata** package is a lightweight Node module that extends the popular **marked** Markdown parser with support for extracting a front‑matter block (e.g., HTML comments or YAML‑style `---` delimiters). It lets developers read a file’s metadata, strip the header from the content, and optionally crop the Markdown by a custom marker—useful for static site generators, blogs, or any app that needs both rendered Markdown and structured header data.
