Browser & Web Worker focussed image codec wasm bundles derived from the Squoosh App.

jSquash is a collection of WebAssembly‑based image codecs (AVIF, JPEG, WebP, PNG, JPEG‑XL, QOI, etc.) packaged as ESM modules that can run directly in browsers and Web‑Worker environments, mirroring the tools from Google’s Squoosh app. It’s aimed at front‑end developers who need fast, client‑side encoding, decoding and resizing of images—especially in strict or edge‑runtime contexts like Cloudflare Workers—while still offering limited Node.js support for convenience.
