This plugin is a modified version of Babel's ES2015 module transformer that preserves imported symbol names during compilation. It's designed for developers who use ES6 modules and source maps for debugging, as it prevents the mangling of variable names that can make debugging difficult. The plugin offers options to disable name mangling and maintain compatibility with CommonJS require statements.
