Router402 is a pay-per-use AI gateway that lets users access Claude and Gemini models through a single OpenRouter-compatible API, settling costs as microtransactions on Base via the x402 protocol. Unlike prepaid or subscription models, it charges for each request only after it's completed, with funds staying in the user's smart account until payment is due. Built with TypeScript, Express, and Pimlico-powered account abstraction, it offers ~0.2s settlement via Flashblocks and includes a TypeScript SDK, VS Code extension, and demo web app.
