with CBT because that means if someone is using Quirk for one condition, like depression, they can't use it for a completely different condition, like anxiety. **Don't include a ton of options.** Options are never a good UX and especially bad for a distress-tolerance-based app. Options also means the app would become less maintainable. **Don't add features that don't add a lot of value.** For example, we won't add a "daily reminder" notification for when to do CBT because reminders popping up at inopportune times can cause more distress. ### Don't be evil **Quirk won't include third-party analytics or tracking.** If we ever do analytics, it will be transparent and the code will be open source. **Quirk won't ask for data that isn't core to the app.** We don't need your identity to function properly, so we won't ask for it. **Quirk won't sell your data.** It's your data, not ours. **Quirk won't do anything with your data without telling you.** If we do anything with your data, we'll let you know and you can opt out.
