parquetjs is a pure‑JavaScript, fully asynchronous library that implements the Apache Parquet columnar file format for Node.js. It lets developers define Parquet schemas, write JSON‑like rows to *.parquet files, and read them back with optional column projection, supporting nested structures and common encodings. The project is aimed at JavaScript/Node developers who need a native, dependency‑light way to produce or consume Parquet data without relying on Java or other language bindings.
