This project provides a small npm package ( `@inventage/envsubst` ) that substitutes Bash‑style environment variables—including default‑value syntax—into text files, outputting a simple report of the replacements. It’s aimed at developers and DevOps engineers who need a lightweight, command‑line tool to templating configuration files or scripts with variable values from their shell environment.
