This project is a polyfill for the Encoding Living Standard's API, enabling encoding and decoding of textual data to and from Typed Array buffers for binary data in JavaScript. It supports a wide range of encodings, including UTF-8, ISO-8859 variants, and legacy encodings, but by default only allows decoding from non-UTF encodings. It is designed for use within web pages and is not optimized for performance.
