SVGO is a Node‑JS command‑line tool (and library) that compresses SVG files by stripping unnecessary metadata, comments, unused elements and by applying a suite of configurable optimization plugins. It’s aimed at web developers, designers and build pipelines who need smaller, cleaner SVG assets for faster page loads.
