text-decoder is a small Node.js library that provides a streaming UTF‑8 (or other encoding) decoder which safely handles multibyte Unicode characters split across chunk boundaries. It lets developers feed Buffers or strings incrementally via `push` and `end`, returning the correctly decoded text while buffering incomplete byte sequences. The package is aimed at developers needing reliable, low‑overhead Unicode decoding in streaming or chunk‑based applications.
