bare-encoding is a lightweight JavaScript library that implements the WHAT WG TextEncoder and TextDecoder interfaces, allowing developers to perform UTF‑8 (and other) text encoding/decoding in environments without built‑in support. It’s aimed at Node.js and browser‑compatible projects that need a standards‑compliant, zero‑dependency solution for handling binary‑to‑string conversions.
