PWACompat is a lightweight JavaScript library that polyfills the Web App Manifest for browsers that don’t natively support it—adding splash screens, icons, theming, and pinned‑site meta tags for iOS Safari, older Chrome/Firefox, IE/Edge, and Windows UWP. It’s aimed at web developers who have already created a `manifest.webmanifest` and want their Progressive Web App to work seamlessly across legacy and mobile browsers without manually crafting dozens of fallback tags.
