AWS Liveness is a lightweight Node.js library that repeatedly pings AWS SDK clients (DynamoDB, Kinesis, S3, SNS, SQS, or custom services) until the target service is responsive, optionally timing out after a configurable period. It’s intended for developers and CI pipelines that need to verify that AWS services—or localstack mocks—are up before starting tests or launching an application.
