three‑mesh‑bvh is a JavaScript library that adds a Bounding Volume Hierarchy (BVH) data structure to three.js geometries, dramatically speeding up ray‑casting, collision detection, and other spatial queries (e.g., point‑cloud, line, and shape intersections, distance fields, voxelisation, etc.). It provides ready‑to‑use extensions for meshes, batched meshes, points, lines and even whole scene hierarchies, with utilities for synchronous, asynchronous (WebWorker), and shader‑based queries. The project is aimed at three.js developers, game‑engine creators, and graphics researchers who need high‑performance geometric queries on complex 3D models.
