ptr‑tile‑grid is a lightweight JavaScript library that generates a global, spherical “tile grid” for mapping applications. It lets developers compute the set of equally‑sized longitude/latitude tiles for any zoom level and optional geographic extent, and provides helpers to derive the appropriate level from map viewport dimensions. The package is aimed at web‑GIS developers building tile‑based globe visualizations (e.g., the Panther mapping platform).
