The **css‑background‑parser** library extracts the individual background layers defined on a DOM element’s CSS (including images, gradients, colors, positions, etc.) and returns them as structured `Background` objects inside a `BackgroundList`. It’s aimed at front‑end developers who need to programmatically inspect or manipulate an element’s computed background CSS, and can be used both in the browser (via a global `cssBgParser`) and as an npm package.
