This is a Node.js library for generating secure JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) used with Firebase's Custom Login authentication system. It allows server-side generation of tokens containing user authentication data that can be validated by Firebase's security rules. The library is intended for backend developers implementing custom authentication in Firebase applications, though it's now archived and only compatible with Firebase SDK versions 1.x.x and 2.x.x.
