json-lexer is a JavaScript library that splits a JSON string into a list of annotated tokens, including whitespace, punctuators, strings, numbers, and literals. It is based on the implementation in json3 and can be used for in-place editing of JSON documents. This project is for developers who need to tokenize JSON strings for tasks such as syntax highlighting, code analysis, or JSON document manipulation.
