This project allows developers to use the familiar Node.js `net` API for TCP networking within Chrome Apps, eliminating the need to learn Chrome's lower-level `chrome.sockets` API. It is designed for developers building Chrome Apps who want to leverage their existing Node.js networking knowledge and tools like browserify. The module provides full compatibility with Node's `net` API, including streaming and event handling, making it easier to port Node.js network code to Chrome Apps.
