saveSvgAsPng is a lightweight JavaScript library that converts SVG elements in a web page to PNG files (or data‑URIs) directly in the browser. It’s aimed at front‑end developers who need to let users download or embed rasterized versions of SVG graphics, offering options for scaling, background colour, font inlining and CSS handling, and works with module bundlers and TypeScript typings.
