Inquirer‑test is a small Node.js library that lets developers write automated functional tests for command‑line interfaces built with **inquirer.js**. By simulating key presses (UP, DOWN, ENTER, etc.) or text input and capturing the program’s output, it enables test suites (e.g., with AVA) to assert that interactive prompts behave as expected—useful for CLI tools, project generators, and any script that relies on inquirer prompts.
