Esperanto is a JavaScript tool for converting ES6 modules to AMD and CommonJS formats, designed to be easier, faster, and smarter than alternatives by avoiding complex configuration and dangerous assumptions. It was ideal for developers working with ES6 modules who needed a simple, non-destructive transpilation process without runtime dependencies. However, the project is now deprecated, and users are directed to use Rollup for bundling or Babel for format conversion.
