This project provides an ES6-compliant shim for `Object.is`, a method that differentiates between -0 and +0 and can compare `NaN` values, which is not possible with the strict equality operator (`===`). It's designed for developers who need to ensure consistent behavior of `Object.is` across different JavaScript environments, especially in older browsers that don't support ES6.
