The **es‑map** package provides a drop‑in replacement for the ES2015 `Map` object that fully follows the ECMAScript specification while still running in environments that only support ES3. It is a shim/polyfill intended for developers who need a standards‑compliant `Map` implementation in older browsers or JavaScript runtimes that lack native support.
