This project provides a spec-compliant shim/polyfill for the `Array.prototype.flat` method, allowing developers to use this ES2019 feature in environments as old as ES3. It's designed for JavaScript developers who need to flatten nested arrays in older environments that don't natively support the `flat` method, following the es-shims API interface for consistency with other JavaScript shims.
