single-use-socket is a lightweight Node.js library that builds on **get‑socket** to create a per‑request virtual WebSocket that lives only for the lifetime of a single client connection. It lets server code attach dedicated send/receive handlers to that exclusive socket, simplifying request‑scoped, bidirectional communication for web developers building real‑time features such as page‑specific messaging or temporary data streams.
