This project develops a lightweight hand exoskeleton designed to assist pianists in training specific techniques through guided finger movements. The device, controlled by a web application, uses servo motors and Bowden cables to replicate piano-playing motions at adjustable tempos, helping users build muscle memory more efficiently than traditional practice. It features four individually actuated fingers, a MIDI keyboard interface for input, and the ability to record and playback exercises. The system is built with 3D-printed and laser-cut parts, powered by an Arduino, and supported by a Flask backend and React frontend. It is intended for pianists, music educators, and rehabilitation professionals seeking to enhance technique training or aid in motor recovery.
