The EW DID Library is a TypeScript toolkit that implements the W3C Decentralised Identifier (DID) and Verifiable Credential specs on the Energy Web Chain. It provides CRUD‑style management of DID documents, key handling, JWT signing, and claim issuance/verification (both public and private), with a pluggable resolver architecture supporting the `ethr` (ERC‑1056) DID method and future methods. It’s aimed at developers building dApps or blockchain‑based identity solutions who need a reusable, standards‑compliant way to create, resolve, and work with DIDs and associated credentials on Energy Web networks.
