ember‑cli‑mocha is an add‑on that integrates the Mocha test runner and Chai assertion library into Ember CLI projects, letting developers write and run unit, integration, and acceptance tests using Mocha’s BDD/TDD syntax. Although it’s now deprecated in favor of the newer ember‑mocha package, it was originally aimed at Ember app developers who prefer Mocha/Chai over the default QUnit testing setup.
