This addon provides a backport of the newer addon import API for older ember-cli versions, enabling compatibility with features introduced in later releases. It is designed for developers working with legacy ember-cli projects who need access to updated import functionality without upgrading their entire setup. Note that it requires implicit access to the ember-cli module and does not work when symlinked.
