PGlite is an embeddable PostgreSQL database compiled to WebAssembly, allowing developers to run Postgres directly in browsers, Node.js, Bun, and Deno without additional dependencies. It's designed for building reactive, real-time, local-first applications with persistence options and support for Postgres extensions like pgvector.
