The **base-href-webpack-plugin** is a small Webpack extension that works alongside **html-webpack-plugin** to automatically insert or update a `<base href="…">` tag in the generated HTML’s `<head>`. It’s aimed at developers using Webpack (v3‑v5) who need a programmable way to set the base URL for their site, although the functionality is now natively supported by html-webpack‑plugin.
