AngularFire is the official AngularJS binding for Firebase, providing Angular services for synchronized objects, collections, storage, and authentication. It's designed for AngularJS developers building real-time applications that need backend services like data storage, user authentication, and file storage. The library is now frozen and will be deprecated after December 31, 2021, with developers encouraged to migrate to the newer @angular/fire for modern Angular applications.
