tsconfck is a lightweight, zero‑dependency Node utility that locates, resolves (including “extends”, “references” and `${configDir}` variables) and parses TypeScript configuration files (tsconfig.json or jsconfig.json) without requiring the TypeScript package itself. It’s aimed at tool authors and build systems—such as Vite, Astro, and other tooling that need fast, async access to merged tsconfig data—while offering optional caching and an optional native fallback to the official TypeScript API.
