Built on Obyte

Chloride is a JavaScript cryptography library that provides a thin, drop‑in compatible layer over NaCl/libsodium. It automatically selects the best backend – native libsodium in Node, the high‑performance emscripten‑compiled `libsodium‑wrappers` for browsers, or the tiny `tweetnacl` implementation when size matters – and exposes the core NaCl APIs (public‑key encryption, signatures, etc.) for use in projects like private‑box, pull‑box‑stream, and secret‑handshake. It is aimed at developers needing reliable, easy‑to‑use public‑key crypto in both Node.js and browser environments, with options to favor performance or minimal bundle size.
