This is a minimal encryption/decryption library for creating and processing JWE (JSON Web Encryption) documents. It supports only secure algorithms - XChaCha20-Poly1305 for recommended mode and AES-GCM-256 for FIPS-compliant mode - and is designed for browser compatibility with modern Node.js. The library is intended for developers needing to encrypt/decrypt data using key agreement keys, particularly in Web KMS/HSM contexts.
