Playactor is a command-line tool and Node.js API for remotely controlling PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, allowing users to wake devices from standby, put them into standby, and send keyboard or button inputs (PS4 only). It is designed for developers or advanced PlayStation owners who want to programmatically interact with their consoles from a computer. The tool is the successor to the older ps4-waker project and offers expanded functionality for PS4 systems.
