parse‑repo is a lightweight Node.js utility that parses a Git remote URL (HTTPS, SSH, or local file paths) and returns a structured object containing the protocol, host, full repository path, owner and project names. It’s useful for developers or tools that need to programmatically extract repository metadata from various Git hosting services such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
