Beasties is a fast, lightweight Node library (and Webpack/Vite plugins) that extracts and inlines the critical CSS of a page while lazy‑loading the remaining stylesheets, with optional font preloading and rule pruning. It’s aimed at developers building prerendered or server‑side‑rendered single‑page applications who want to improve first‑paint performance without the overhead of a headless‑browser based solution.
