Astroturf is a CSS-in-JS library that allows you to write CSS directly in your JavaScript files without adding any runtime layer, using your existing CSS processing pipeline. It's for developers who want the benefits of CSS-in-JS like scoped styles and single-file components, but without the overhead of runtime style parsing or being locked into a specific framework's CSS processing.
