The **Office Viewer** extension adds built‑in previews for common office‑type files (PDF, Excel, Word, CSV, SVG, fonts, zip‑based archives, etc.) directly inside Visual Studio Code, and replaces the default markdown editor with a WYSIWYG Vditor editor (also supporting live HTML preview). It is aimed at developers and power‑users who want to view and edit these document formats without leaving the VS Code environment. (The project is no longer actively maintained.)
