Immer is a tiny JavaScript library that lets developers work with immutable state by mutating a temporary draft copy; `produce` records those mutations and returns a new, structurally‑shared state tree (with optional patches, async support, and auto‑freezing). It’s aimed at React/Redux developers and anyone needing simple, type‑safe immutable updates without learning a new API.
